The Story
The Easter Picnic Polishing’s Basket was newly created for this year. We wanted to incorporate everything that we’ve learned over the past year and create the perfect gift basket for long-distance friends, colleagues, parents or grandparents to enjoy. We know we may not all be able to be together in presence this Easter, but our aim was to create a multi-purpose Easter gift that can be enjoyed in the comfort of home or alongside a picnic on a sunny Spring afternoon. Guaranteed to bring a smile to the lucky recipient's faces. (Just remind them to pack the picnic blanket and cutlery)!
Basket’s Galore has always prided itself in supporting local producers but we realise this is more important now than ever. Which is why the Easter Picnic polishing’s Basket, with the exception of Lindt, includes only British and Irish produce. And the added benefit of this is that, freshness is maintained, as we can source as close to the time of sending as possible.
Furthermore, it is our attention to detail and our utmost consideration for the end-user that we believe sets us apart from our competitors. We only use products that are tried and tested favourites. Meaning we are happy in the knowledge that each gift basket we create, is one we’d be truly ecstatic to receive ourselves.

We have various systems in place to guarantee our perishable produce maintains the highest level of freshness. Firstly, we source our chocolate fudge cake from our local bakery, Patton’s. This ensures that freshness is not lost in transit. Secondly, we do not include any fresh items in our baskets that have been held with us for more than two days. Thirdly, our packaging notifies your recipient to “open immediately.”
Re-usability:
We wouldn’t be Baskets Galore without our beautiful baskets. Which means we take them very seriously indeed. We only purchase from trusted suppliers in order to guarantee the highest quality wicker, finished to the highest standard. This allows many of our customer’s lucky recipients to find many different uses for their empty baskets, once all the lovely contents have been enjoyed. We’ve seen them become everything from aesthetically pleasing, storage baskets, to very happy looking pets, enjoying their new basket beds

We are not a huge, impersonal manufacturing warehouse. At Baskets Galore, we make each of your gift baskets to order, by hand with the utmost care. Therefore, if there are any changes you would like to make to any item’s flavours or quantities, then please reply to your order confirmation email and a member of our lovely customer services team will do their best to assist you. Our policy is to never send a gift basket we wouldn’t be delighted to receive ourselves.

Extra Delivery Info:
Non-Perishable Gift Baskets ordered on a Friday before 3pm GMT will be delivered on Monday. Monday Delivery is not available for Perishable Gifts such as Fresh Fruit & Smoked Salmon Baskets. Deliveries are generally made during working hours, 9am-5pm.
NB* At Christmas time specified delivery dates are met on a best endeavour basis.

We offer delivery discounts for 2 or more baskets being delivered to the same address, on the same day. This is calculated as full delivery for the first basket and then 50% discount for each subsequent delivery.
