Feedback received from some of our customers suggested that they would be interested in a Christmas themed hamper with a savoury product focus. Our Traditional Christmas Hampers were found to have more of an emphasis placed upon sweet items and Christmas fayre. Opting for a Gourmet Food Hamper instead meant it may contain less of the required Christmas fayre. With this in mind the team came up with a range of Hampers focusing on cheese and savoury foodstuffs, but with a little bit of Christmas tradition mixed in there. We update our Christmas Hampers every year as well as adding new products to the range as we receive lots of repeat custom and like to keep things fresh and exciting.
Many of our Christmas Hampers containing wine had also been designed in a duo format, so that the food and wine components came in modular components. From experience the weight of two or more bottles of wine inside a hamper could sometimes lead to breakages. When the wine is packaged within the main food hamper this can result in leakages and the risk of spoiling the foodstuffs. Keeping the gift modular meant this risk was minimised and should such a situation occur with the wine, the main food component would be undamaged.
However, some customers prefer the wine and food to be combined into one larger gift framework and so this year we have more gifts available containing a single bottle of wine. This allows for it to be packaged alongside the food in the hamper without adding too much weight. This Christmas Hamper arrives in a wicker basket with an attractive, colourful lid and measures 38 x 27 x 19 cm It has been designed to be compact & lighter weight than the duo hampers, as with only a single glass bottle all the items are together inside the hamper container itself. The cheese is wax wrapped but is also housed in a cool sleeve chilled ice pack for freshness in transit. We aim to make the combination of products so perfect that you won't require any changes, but of course tastes and dietary needs vary amongst the population and so sometimes a change may be preferred or required. We create, wrap and ship our Hampers directly and as such amendments to the contents is possible. During December however, we find it difficult to make adjustments on a singular basis the closer it gets to Christmas. Should you need to adjust the contents, please let us know as early as possible in December, even in November, so we can schedule this in.
