This Christmas Hamper is one of our flag ship Gifts. We see it as a work of art which has been adjusted ever so slightly every year to reflect updates in packaging and tastes.

Yet it has continually adhered to its original design brief of providing premium traditional products in a Christmas hamper, which acts as a yardstick for others to imitate.
Exciting, substantial, deliciously different, but with a range of flavours which will appeal to as wide a cross section of society as possible. That's the mission we set ourselves every year when we design this particular Christmas Hamper.
What we think customers like about this Christmas Hamper is the quality of the Christmas food items we include and the decent sizing. Our policy over the years has to buy fewer, but better foods and offer a premium product at prices which are extremely competitive and allows us to bring a quality of service and tracking to the industry which had not hitherto been seen.
Our Bakery products are made freshly in local bakeries every year and we don't start taking delivery of these Christmas Goods until the final week in November, which again is a major departure from conventional norms whereby such Christmas hampers are contract packed. The benefit to our customers is that they are receiving fresher, artisan baked products as opposed to industrially produced foods.

The Story

Many, Many years ago Basketsgalore launched with a glossy sixteen page colour brochure in November with a single page of Christmas Hampers. Our youthful naivety led us to believe that Christmas hampers was something, which Marks and Spencers or Fortnums and Masons sold. There was no point in us offering a range of Christmas Hampers because the market was already fully serviced by a variety of mega department and retail stores. Instead we wanted to focus on bringing something different to the table so we created innovative derivatives of Christmas Hamper concepts.
Naturally they were extremely popular because everybody likes to see something different and innovative. However, we were also asked to make adjustments to our groundbreaking, thought provoking and inspirational designs and yes, you've guessed it:- those changes tended to be the substitution of our daring inclusions for products of a more traditional nature.
It is out of these changes that a core line of Traditional Christmas Hampers emerged and this particular hamper was originally known as the Christmas High Tea Celebration Hamper. We've innovated and improved over the past decade and a half until we arrive at our 2020 version, which is the Christmas Festive Celebration.
We may have been naive, but our hard work has paid off and we are now the Uk's top Christmas Hamper company, and also the best, we are the only company that has a follow up service that tracks and keeps the purchaser linked in the when the parcel leaves the warehouse and when it is delivered to the recipient.

This is a standard Christmas Hamper that can be delivered to all of the UK within 2-3 days of ordering. We can also deliver this hamper to the 27 states of the EU; this is a popular gift to send to Germany, the Netherlands and offices around Europe from the UK because of its focus on being compact with a high ratio of value/weight.
This Christmas Gift Basket arrives in a Great Taste Branded ECO-paq to complete the outstanding look. the Gift Basket is of substantial size of 27x36x17cm with an approximate weight of 3kg. The outer box fits snug around the presentation box, also aiding the delivery. The volumetric weight of the outer box is 5kg.
There are no perishable items in this gift so it is a good option if you want to enjoy it slowly.

All our Christmas Hampers can be modified with ease because we assemble them in house and do not provide any other fulfilment centres or retail outlets. As such our Christmas Hampers are all bespoke designs and creations reflecting customers preferences over the past two decades.
We recommend that any amendments are limited to alternative flavours, which you may express a preference for and may have seen advertised elsewhere on our website.
We are extremely responsive to customer requests for changes, but regret that any changes from the 5th December are not guaranteed to be acted upon as they would be at any other time of year for logistical reasons.
